Seihitsu Sueki Mug Small #1 is a compact 4 oz handcrafted stoneware mug by Manabu Suehiro. Inspired by the quiet austerity of ancient Sue ware, this piece embodies restraint and balance in an intimate scale.

Its faceted surface is carefully carved by hand, forming subtle planes that catch light softly against the ash-gray clay. Natural iron speckles emerge through the firing process, giving depth without ornament. The angular handle and gently irregular rim reveal the handmade character while maintaining structural harmony.

With a practical capacity of approximately 4 oz (120 ml) when filled below the rim, this mug is ideal for espresso-based drinks, Japanese tea, or slow, mindful moments. Each piece is individually shaped and fired, making #1 a unique expression within the Seihitsu (静謐, “serene stillness”) series.
