This set includes a rectangular plate and a katakuchi (spouted) bowl made by Kokuji-yaki, the most northern kiln in Japan. The pieces' texture emanates the artist’s skillful craftsmanship and provides a feeling of peacefulness. The light beige brush-drawn design is traditional yet chic and tasteful. The bowl is versatile and can be used for matcha green tea, as a container for dressing or gravy, or even be used as a regular bowl for soups, salads, or rice. The spout is functional and beautiful in its design, which is exactly the philosophy that Kokujiyaki has cherished for hundreds of years. We welcome you to introduce it to your dining table.
*The bamboo matcha whisk (chasen) shown in the photo is not included.
